大学の世界展開力強化事業トピックス

　2026年3月1日～8日に「Post-SDGs世界展開力事業 日豪食料経済安全保障スタディツアー」が実施されました。スタディツアーには、西オーストラリア大学から４名、名古屋大学から６名、岐阜大学から１名が参加し、農学、理学、食品科学の大学院生および学部生が交流を深めました。
本スタディツアーは、学術的、産業的、実地的な学びを通じて、日本における食糧安全保障への理解を深めることを目的としており、オーストラリアおよび日本の小麦品種や、小麦粉の製粉・加工における品質、さらにそれらが麺類の製造に果たす役割について研修を行いました。
今回のプログラムでは、名古屋大学および岐阜大学における講義のほか、岐阜大学の研究室での実験、株式会社ニップンでの実習、さらに小麦の栽培と品質評価に関する現地視察を実施しました。
８日間のスタディツアーを通じて、日本とオーストラリアの学生間の学術交流および連携が促進されました。

　From March 1 to March 8, 2026, the Post-SDGs Study Tour on Food Security in Japan brought together undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Western Australia (4), Nagoya University (6), and Gifu University (1), representing the fields of agriculture, science, and food science.
The study tour aimed to promote understanding of food security in Japan through academic, industrial, and field-based learning, focusing on Australian and Japanese wheat varieties, flour quality for milling and processing, and their roles in noodle production.
The program included lectures at Nagoya University and Gifu University, laboratory experiments at Gifu University, hands-on training at NIPPN Flour Mills Company, and a field visit to observe wheat cultivation and quality evaluation.
The study tour contributed to advancing academic exchange and collaboration between students from Japan and Australia.
