Research interest


 In our laboratory, we research about studies on the genetic basis of qualitative and quantitative traits in mammals and birds; evaluation, conservation and utilization of animal genetic resources; and development of new laboratory animal models for human disease and biological functions.
 We are currently conducting research specifically on the following themes.

 ・Identification of genes with enhanced physiological function with age
