Quail genome
update

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Dr. Shigehiro Kuraku and Dr. Akane Kawaguchi at the National Institute of Genetics, the update of the quail genome has been successfully completed.The assembly now consists of 249 scaffolds with a scaffold N50 of 56.6 Mb, achieving a quality comparable to the latest chicken genome assemblies. The genome is based on the WE standard line.
