On October 16, 2025, Dr. Bede Mickan, Lecturer and Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia, visited our Graduate School. Dr. Mickan holds a joint appointment as Research and Development Manager at Richgro Garden Products, where he conducts research bridging industrial challenges with academic expertise.
During his visit, Dr. Mickan engaged in discussions with Professor Murase, Professor Asakawa, Professor Kondo, Associate Professor Watanabe, and other faculty members, exchanging ideas on their respective research topics and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
Additionally, Dr. Mickan delivered a seminar titled &ldqup;John Snow, Karl Marx, Wicked Problems and Re-inventing the Circular Economy in the 21st Century”.
