Go to Japanese version

This laboratory aims at the utilization and development of potential biological functions related to plant growth and production, parasitism and protection by plants, plant genetics and adaptation, and recycling of bioelement and environment cleaning in the fields of horticulture science, plant pathology, plant genetics and breeding, and soil science. All of the research subjects were developed through the long history of evolution of organisms on the Earth, and are related to the fundamental functions of organisms. For their elucidation, the laboratory takes integral approaches from macroscopic to microscopic levels such as ecosystem, individual, cell, and molecular/gene levels.
